The Fenzy Aeris Confort Type 2 is a self-contained compressed air breathing apparatus developed by Honeywell Respiratory Protection France. Specially designed for fighting fires, it fulfils the requirements of the most recent EN 137 standard, type 2 classification.
A general flame engulfment test is carried out on the Fenzy Aeris Confort Type 2 while it is working. The apparatus shows resistance to temperature of 90°C for 20 minutes and to flame of 1000°C for 10 seconds.
A drop test is then carried out to check the strength of the straps after a flame engulfment. The Fenzy Aeris Confort Type 2 is a comfortable and modular apparatus allowing fire-fighters to enter into mission safely.
